It has been a busy last couple weeks, with little let up in site. As many of you know we are in the process of moving and with less then a month to go it’s keeping Sharon and I busy and Muffy a little on the stressed side.
The launch of the first in the Adventures of the Renegade Magician serial was a huge success and positive comments are already coming in.
I would like to welcome all the new people from Geoff Ronning’s Stage Hypnosis Center, thanks for being on Geoff new Webinar and welcome to my cyber space world.
It’s Memorial Day here in the USA, I would like to take just a moment and thank all the service men and women who are currently fighting for this great nation and those whop have served in the past and the families of those that have had loved ones give their all to keep this a nation of freedom.
Some of you know my brother is a professional fire fighter in Columbus, Ohio, lets not forget these brave men and women who also protect us along with law enforcement officers, sometimes we forget that they also place their lives on the line each and every day.
I’m a big Indiana Jones fan, and have been waiting for some time for the new Indy movie to be released after hearing about it a couple years ago. If finally was released this weekend and it’s all Indy, Lucas did a great job of adding the age factor into the Indy character and just as much action as ever.
I recall when they said they were working on the idea of another Indy movie, that they would only do it, if they could equal the quality of the first three… I think they did.
Is there a marketing lesion in there? You bet there is.
Many times when we build a repeat client base, we begin to take them for granted, you know, “…will they know me, it will be OK, if I slack just a little this time, it will not hurt the relationship. ” We the fact is, it does and can end a loyal clients business, fast.
If you have reached a point where you feel you can just do 99% with a client, maybe you should rethink doing business with them at all. It’s just that simple.
I have a couple past clients that i have worked with for 15 years, this year I have stepped down, I just can’t get excited doing the programs I did for them in past years. Last year I noticed I was just walking through the presentation, glazing at my watch several times… I was time to let them go, better to walk away then be fired, wouldn’t you agree?

Hi, I would first like to apologize, I was so busy last week with the overwhelming response the the Adventures of the Renegade Magician DVD, I just didn’t have time to do anything other then work on the project. I got word today from the duplicators that they have been shipped, so I should have them in a few days and then will send them right out. You still have time to save before they go up to full price at the end of the month.
WELCOME, I’d like to welcome the new VIP members that have joined us from the Stage Hypnosis Center, that Geoff and Wendy Ronning run. I can’t recommend Geoff training and programs enough, they are all top of the line.
Last night, afternoon or wee hours of the morning, depending on your location, Geoff grilled me on how I create instant stage hypnosis gigs. The call was a great success, judged by the response and the questions, I’m guessing there were about 50 people on the call, and Internet webinar.
Many of the questions were about the specifics of the marketing tools I use to advertise the shows, once I book them. I decided the easiest thing to do would be a short video, showing them and explain a bit about each one.
So this week, as a welcome to our new VIP members, Rick’s Rants is dedicated to members from the SHC.

Holly Cow, Time Flies May 3, 2008

Wow, I got busy yesterday packing boxes for our upcoming move, I completely forgot it was Friday and did not do a Rick’s Rants video.
I’ll be brief, but did want to mention a couple things.
First off this coming week, the 7th as a matter of fact will mark an anniversary of sorts. One year ago, I was rushed off to the hospital, gutted, sewed back up and spent the next nearly five months not being, or feeling like, doing much work at all.
Because I’m still here, for now anyway, I’ll be having an unbelievable special offer for you, with my ”I Could Have Died!” 24 hour anniversary sale.
